should read:  *Decide which strip(s) to use as the joining strip(s) and cut in half lengthwise to yeild (2, 6) 1-1/4" X WOF (width of fabric) strips.

should read:  Using the two coordinating 1-1/4" X WOF JOINING STRIPS,...
